History of Help
1. March 28, 2005 / Jim C. / Living in abandoned barn building fires to keep warm.
Released from 4 years in prison in Jan. 05. Alcoholic. Could not pass personality test at Labor Ready.
Paid for 3 weeks motel stay. J & A paid for 1 week. Took him to Labor Finders where he secured a job and became best worked in department. FSBH drove him to and from work for a week. After 4 weeks paid his own bills for motel, food, clothing, transportation, etc. FSBH gave him bike, furnished by J & A. Presently in Lake Ozarks assisting sick broth after heart attack.
2. Shaun H. and Michelle M. / Living in car looking for work. / Fired from many jobs.
Paid for 1 week in motel. Both working at McDonalds in Bowling Green, MO. Shaun became manager. Living in apartment.
3. Jerry Z./ 1 night in motel. Left without calling so didn’t get intake info.
4. Ron M and son (9 yr. old) / Lived at Salvation Army in O’Fallon for 3 weeks.
Divorced. Working at many different machinists jobs.
Paid for 2 weeks in motel. Helped to get 5 jobs which he was fired from because he failed to report to work many times. Finally got a machinist job and living in other motels.
5. Richard L. / Paid 1 night in motel and he left before getting intake info.
6 . Bob E. / Came from New Jersey to undergo heart surgery. / Limo business for 20 years.
Paid for 3 days in motel. He found job as limo driver and small studio apartment. FSBH paid for license and registration and care repairs. Hung up on J & A case worker so not anxious to help anymore
7. Marty W. / Alcoholic for 20 years in military. Separated from wife and 2 kids.
Had many jobs which he lost r/t alcoholism. Spent 1 week in treatment at Bridgeway.
Paid for 2 weeks in motel. Certified by J & A. FSBH took to Labor Finders where he secured a job. Took him to and from work for 1 week. Went back to drinking, but now is in 6 month treatment program in Arkansas.
8. Walter H. / Living on streets / Alcoholic
J & A certified him and took him to senior home. Drunk when went to home and was rejected.
9. Bob W. / Lost contact.
10. Rick W. / Lived in van at TA Truckstop in Foristell. Has wife in MN. But both want to move to TX. Has MS and disability income. TA paid for 1 night in motel. FSBH paid for phone cared and food. Decided to go back to MN after mother-in-law had heart attack.
11. Jason S. and Amanda D. / Both lived in St. Charles in mobile home which they lost when jobs were lost.
Both divorced and have kids. Kids living with Jason’s dad. Amanda on parole.
Paid for 2 weeks in motel. Neither could find jobs. Amanda violated parole and went back to prison.
12. Jim L. and son (3 yr old) Lived at Salvation Army shelter for 2 weeks. / Divorced and has custody of son. Laid off from many jobs. Paid for 2 weeks in motel. Worked at Labor Finders for awhile then got job at Landscaping Co. Living in motels.
13. Allen J. and wife / Went through Army alcohol rehab. Lived at Salvation Army shelter for 3 weeks.
Alcoholic. Laid off from many jobs. Certified by J & A Found job and apartment.
14. Aaron W. and Heather S. / Worked at factory in North Dakota.
Both ex-spouses brought kids to Troy MO from South Dakota. Aaron and Heather trying to get custody and visiting kids on weekends, etc. Paid for 2 weeks in motel. Both got jobs at Labor Finders and Conoco gas station. Moved to tent in Cuivre River State Park.
15. Sean S. / Prison. Asked to leave parents’ home in St. Charles after prison.
Involved in drugs during teens and young adult life. Paid for 3 weeks in motel and took to Labor Finders and to and from work for 3 days. Returned to doing drugs and violated parole. Back to prison.
16. Mark L. / Living in woods near Salvation Army where he got food and showers. Laid off from many jobs. Was living w/ parents before argument. Located work, a car through friends. Paid for 1 week motel. St. V. DePaul paid for 1 week motel and car insurance. Working at Lowe’s now for 3 months. Eligible for MHTF money for rent assistance.
17. Jeannette W. / Went to SJHC for alcohol treatment. / Lost contact.
18. Donna L. / Shut-in in mobile home. / Will call when needs help.

Living in car with dog in St. Charles Co.
Living in car for a long time. Laid off from many jobs.
Paid for 1 night in motel. Advised to go to Labor temps for work. Lost contact.

Living in car in Troy and St. Charles County
Working as guard and protected witness for St. Charles Co. Police. NECAC in Troy working with him for a long time.
Found job at GM as security guard. Still says Mafia is trying to run him off the road.

Living in van. NECAE in Troy working with him.
Can’t work because of heart condition disability. Receiving disability pay but not enough for apartment.
Paid for 1 week in motel. Also provided food from Salvation Army. Went back to living in van. No resources for him.

Referred by Cheryl Glass. Client was transferred from Colorado parole board.
On parole.
Paid 1 night in motel. Transferred to Florissant parole board.

Lived in Chesterfield until house was transferred in will.
Works at Bob Evans. Trying to find apartment or house for himself and fiancé Jackie.
Paid 2 weeks in motel. They found apartment.

Came from New Jersey. Going to So. Dakota to stay and work w/ friend.
Paid for 3 days in motel. Bought bus ticket to SD. Living and working there.

Paid for 3 nights ion motel. Worked at Labor Finders 3 days and went to KS.

Can’t find job. Needs more alcohol rehab. Worked a few days at Labor Finders. Paid for 1 week in motel.

Have 2 yr old son. Were living w/ parents but were both asked to leave. Previous drug addicts.
Living in car. Mike looking for work. Amy works at Subway.
Paid for 2 weeks at motel. Adopt – a-Family paid for 2 weeks more. Had to go back to living in car. Mike still looking for work. Parents refused to let them come back home.

Both work but can’t afford apartment.
Paid for 2 weeks in motel. Certified by J & A and presently receiving assistance to get apartment. Living at Budget Inn and paying bills.

Paid for 1 night at motel. Went to Barnes for surgery.

Sleeping in woods. Laid off from many jobs.
Paid for 2 ½ weeks in motel. Also supplied food, clothing and job through Encore Temps in Wentzville. Drove him to Jonesburg near his work to motel. Still working there and paying bills.

Moved to Springfield MO to help sick mother. Mother died and was left with no inheritance
Paid for 3 nights in motel. Referred him to TA for job. Secured job and found apartment in Warrenton for $10 per night. Looking for better job and apartment.

Living in apartment in Warrenton and working in Wright City Meat Packing Co. causing trouble at Dodie’s place so she had him and his car towed away.

Living and working in Las Vegas. Arrested and brought back to Troy to jail for $90,000 back child support.
Bought 1 night in motel, food and tent. Took to hospital for high blood pressure. Discharged this am. Unemployment check came today for him and haven’t heard from him all day. Went to transfer center in St. Louis. No more contact.

Living in O’Fallon Motel working at Kohl’s. Son not working.
Came from, CA to see dying husband in St. Peter’s, MO. Spent all savings getting here.
Job at Kohl’s. J & A arranged for car. Jesse to start work at Kohl’s soon. Waiting for 4th weeks of work to get help with apartment. J & A paying for room at Knights Inn 4 weeks. Jesse arrested for stealing at Kohl’s. Samantha working at Century Tel. Still at Knights Inn Motel. Heard rumors of them addicted to meth.

1 week and 3 days at Knights Inn. Found job through temp. agency.

Wife died while living in St. Louis. Found job in O’Fallon. Lost job when O’Fallon Motel closed.
J & A moved him to Budget Inn Motel in Care Springs. Found job at O’Charley’s on night shift for $11/hr. Will get apartment when he gets 4 weeks of paychecks.

Worked at various temp agencies. Burned bridges at Labor Finders. Have car and $5 for gas. Have ADD and long-term injuries. Receiving $505 monthly disability income
Still job searching. Have good leads through Ameristaff temps.

Has bipolar problem. Had 38 jobs in 30 years.
Gave a bus ticket to Columbia Mo for VA treatment Center for bipolar problems. Now working and hopefully have long- term employment.

FSBH paid $500 and Geri B. raised the rest of the money to save lady from being evicted. Thank God!
68. Windy B and Jerry G. and 3 kids / Evicted from rental home. Jerry has severe back pains and lost job.
FSBH paid for 2 weeks in Knights Inn. Jerry and Windy both found jobs. Kids started Wentzville Schools. SFBH located home in Foristell they could afford. Both working and paying bills.

Had to take to Cherokee Lakes campground with tent. Still no attempt to renew Ids. Left Cherokee lakes to begin ranch hand job with Onie Boulware in Tuscumbia, MO. She called FSBH because of Rural MO Magazine article. Now Tim W. is living in tent Joes had at campgound.

83.Cynthia T./ Acute liver disease from alcoholism. J & A put in Knight’s Inn for 2 weeks. FSBH and Adopt-A-Family paid for 1 week at Knight’s Inn. Husband Chris and Cynthia long time sever alcoholics. Cynthia will die soon. Chris in SJHC for detox for 3rd time. Cynthia died 10/31 in nursing home.

FSBH paid to fix car. Also put in KI motel 3 nights. Working for Labor Finders, moved to Dodie’s in Warrenton. Found new full time job at Willerding Welding. Car broke down. FSBH bought used car for him which he promised to pay back at $100 per month for 5 months. (never did pay on it).

89. Ed C./ Just released from SJHW for diabetes. Disabled r/t depression, bipolar and other metal problems. Getting DSS and Social Security. His mom asked him to leave.
Went back to his mom’s house until his disability check comes in 4 days. Starts new job soon.
